IT Systems & Security Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, as a System Engineer, you take responsibility for the stable, secure, and efficient operation of IT systems. You plan, implement, and optimise infrastructure solutions and ensure that systems work together smoothly. You analyse disruptions, resolve incidents sustainably, and contribute your expertise to the continuous improvement of the system landscape. As a professional, you evaluate new technologies, contribute your experience to technical concepts, and support demanding infrastructure projects. Additionally, you document your solutions carefully and ensure professional communication with internal and external contacts.
Responsibilities:
You take on the analysis of customer requirements and the design of individual solutions
You are responsible for servers, networks, and IT systems
You ensure stability, performance, and security
In direct customer contact, you provide support on-site, remotely, as well as 2nd-/3rd-level support
Consulting, training, and technical documentation are also part of your duties
Qualifications:
IT specialist with a federal diploma (EFZ) or comparable qualification with experience in operating IT infrastructures
Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory
Good knowledge of networking, firewall, VPN, WLAN, and virtualisation
Experience with backup, monitoring, and security solutions
German language skills in spoken and written form, customer orientation, and a category B driving licence
