Tasks

• You are the nursing contact person responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing process, involving the social environment and the internal and external network.
• You shape everyday life in a family-like setting together with the residents, where cooking and household chores as well as leisure activities are part of it.
• You actively and enthusiastically contribute to the further development of the nursing services in your residential group by bringing in your ideas and helping to shape the broad scope for action.
• You support learners and students from various health and social care training programmes in developing their skills.

Profile

• Passion for the concept of care residential groups
• A diploma recognised by the Swiss Red Cross as a qualified nursing specialist (HF/FH) with training or experience in psychiatry/social psychiatry, supported living arrangements.
• You appreciate a high degree of independence and like to bring in your diverse interests – whether cooking, organising various daily activities or supporting residents with their health challenges.
• You enjoy taking responsibility in a small team with different professional qualifications.
• Experience in nursing people with psychiatric illnesses is an advantage but not a requirement.

The annual salary for this position ranges from CHF 85,228 to CHF 113,882 (100%) depending on experience.

The care residential groups of the Health Centres for the Elderly consist of manageable shared living communities and specialise in the needs of people with dementia and people with psychiatric conditions. The care residential groups are located in various districts of the City of Zurich. Here you work together with between 6-10 colleagues.
