Senior DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer
Your role
As a Senior DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer, you join a DevOps team with the goal of strengthening the reliability, automation and security of the software delivery chain.
At the interface of Systems, Infrastructure, Development, Operations and Security teams, you play a key role in the evolution of the DevOps platform and in the adoption of DevSecOps practices. You work on CI/CD pipelines as well as Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, containerisation and security.
Your mission
- You are responsible for the operation, securing and evolution of the DevOps platform and its ecosystem, including build and deployment agents, container registries and artifact management.
- You design, maintain and develop CI/CD pipeline templates as well as shared tools used by development teams.
- You integrate automated security controls into pipelines: SAST, DAST, SCA, container image analysis, Infrastructure as Code and secret detection, following a Security by Design and Shift Left approach.
- You participate in identifying, analysing and prioritising vulnerabilities in the software delivery chain and support teams in their remediation.
- You contribute to containerising applications and deploying them on Kubernetes, notably using a GitOps approach with Argo CD.
- You participate in the secure management of secrets, certificates and technical identities necessary for pipelines and deployments.
- You contribute to analysing and resolving security incidents that may affect the DevOps platform or CI/CD chains.
- You support development teams in adopting best practices around Git, Pull Requests, code reviews, versioning and CI/CD pipelines.
- Finally, you actively participate in defining DevSecOps standards and ensure documentation of the platform and associated procedures.
Your profile
- Degree in computer science, Bachelor, Master, HES, EPF, ES or equivalent training.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a DevOps, DevSecOps or platform engineering environment.
- You have excellent mastery of Azure DevOps Server and solid experience in designing, securing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- You are proficient in Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Git and GitOps practices, notably with Argo CD.
- You have advanced skills in Terraform / OpenTofu and Ansible, as well as scripting and automation with PowerShell, Bash and Python.
- You understand the security challenges specific to CI/CD chains: access management, branch protection, secrets, traceability, vulnerabilities and artifact control.
- You know automated analysis solutions SAST, DAST and SCA, secret detection tools and vulnerability management principles.
- You also have good knowledge of Windows environments, Cloud Native components, network and storage infrastructures, observability and code quality solutions such as Sonar.
- Experience in designing Kubernetes operators is also an asset.
- You are comfortable with Jira and Confluence and master agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Certifications in Azure DevOps, Kubernetes and/or HERMES are a plus.
- You are fluent in French and English. Knowledge of German is an additional asset.
Beyond technologies, you have a true DevOps / DevSecOps mindset: you enjoy automating, securing, standardising and sharing best practices while being able to quickly grasp new technologies.
