PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
You develop customised PLC programmes and motion control solutions for demanding automation systems. You design user-friendly HMI interfaces and accompany the projects through to successful commissioning at the customer’s site. You work closely with the involved departments and actively contribute your technical expertise to project implementation.
Responsibilities:
Development and programming of PLC controls and motion controllers for customised systems
Creation and further development of HMI interfaces
Programming of automation solutions with Structured Text (ST) or SCL
Commissioning of systems on site at the customer
Conducting function tests and optimisations during commissioning
Technical fault analysis and adjustment of control software as needed
Collaboration with project management, design, and other technical departments
Qualifications:
Completed basic training as an automation technician or a comparable technical qualification
Good programming skills in Structured Text (ST) or SCL
Experience with at least one of the platforms Schneider PacDrive, Beckhoff, or Siemens
Experience in PLC programming and ideally in motion control
Enjoyment of commissioning and varied customer assignments
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
Willingness for occasional customer assignments and corresponding travel activity
