Civil Engineer - Structures (M/F)
Our client, a consulting engineering firm recognised for its expertise in civil engineering, energy and water sectors, is seeking a Civil Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience to strengthen its teams in Geneva.
You will work on major technical projects related to dams, hydraulic structures and complex infrastructures, both in Switzerland and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and sizing of concrete structures and works;
- Carry out complex calculations and analyses in civil engineering;
- Contribute to geotechnical studies according to project needs;
- Perform diagnostics, expert assessments and evaluations of existing structures;
- Participate in various project phases, from design to construction monitoring;
- Gradually take responsibility for studies and technical packages independently;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on high value-added technical issues.
Candidate Profile
- Engineering degree or Master’s in Civil Engineering;
- 2 to 5 years of experience gained in a design office, engineering or applied research;
- Strong skills in structural and reinforced concrete calculations;
- Good command of design and sizing methods for structures;
- Developed analytical mind and ability to solve complex problems;
- Rigour, autonomy and sense of responsibility;
- Ease in teamwork;
- French C1 level.
Experience in dams, hydraulic structures or complex infrastructures is a real asset.
