Operational Food Buyer 80-100% (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
You manage fresh products, ingredients and packaging materials from regional and international suppliers.
You coordinate import orders taking into account applicable customs quotas.
You continuously monitor orders, delivery dates and outstanding quantities.
In case of discrepancies, you handle complaints and coordinate resolution.
You maintain regular contact with suppliers and conduct negotiations on prices and conditions.
You prepare procurement contracts and manage their administrative processing.
You check stock levels and coordinate reorders with demand.
You maintain master data and work closely with production, goods receipt and sales.
Qualifications:
You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship or a comparable qualification.
You have several years of professional experience in purchasing.
Confident demeanour and negotiation skills characterise you in supplier contact.
Good Excel skills and a proficient use of MS Office are required.
You work independently, reliably and with the necessary initiative.
Assertiveness and good teamwork are among your strengths.
Knowledge of the vegetable and fruit trade is an advantage.
Fluent German and good English skills for negotiation
