Purchaser / Material Planner 80-100% (m/f/d)
A leading company in its industry operates in mechanical engineering, specialising in precision and linear technology. We specialise in connecting professionals in this field with the right companies. If you want to learn more about the company and the position, apply now.Responsibilities:
Record procurement requirements and ensure the availability of necessary components.
Obtain, evaluate and commercially compare supplier offers.
Commercial processing of all order transactions in the ERP system.
Track backlogs and initiate appropriate corrective measures in case of deviations.
Contact person for suppliers regarding conditions, orders and delivery dates.
Ensure data quality in the purchasing system and update relevant information.
Support internal departments with procurement queries and coordinate order details.
Review existing purchasing standards and contribute to their further development.
Qualifications:
Technical or commercial basic training, supplemented by further training as a purchasing specialist, HF technician or technical commercial clerk.
Several years of professional experience in a comparable role in procurement.
Confident use of SAP and ideally in-depth knowledge of the MM module.
Understanding of material flows, goods procurement and operational supply chains.
Professional experience in collaboration with external business partners.
Good organisational skills as well as factual and binding communication.
Initiative, reliability and a systematic approach to administrative tasks.
Fluent German and good English skills, both spoken and written.
