Job Summary
Our client, a private bank, is strengthening its Workplace Support / workstation team. The service ensures the operational maintenance of the workstation for all employees, including highly critical populations (VIPs and traders).
The environment is standardised Windows 11, with a significant VDI component (Omnissa Horizon) and a user experience monitoring tool (Nexthink). The role combines daily operations (N1/N2 support) and deployment and industrialisation activities.
Responsibilities
User Support N1/N2
Handling requests and incidents, on-site and remotely, via the ticketing tool (Jira)
Support for VIP and trader populations: responsiveness, discretion, pressure management
Proactive diagnosis and analysis of user experience via Nexthink
Deployment and Workstation
Installation and configuration of desktops, laptops and thin clients under Windows 11
Installation and configuration of printers / MFPs
Deployment of patches and configurations
Software distribution and asset management via SCCM
Support and troubleshooting of the VDI environment (Omnissa Horizon)
Management and Continuous Improvement
Management of IT hardware stock
Writing and updating procedures, proposing service improvements
Contribution to the coordination of the support team
Technical Environment
Workstation: Windows 11, Office 365, MFP
Deployment and asset management: SCCM, HPDM, iPAM
VDI: Omnissa Horizon
User experience monitoring: Nexthink
Directory: Active Directory
Ticketing / ITSM: Jira, EasyVista
Scripting: PowerShell (including PowerShell Universal)
Miscellaneous: Linux (basic knowledge)
Profile Sought
Education
Diploma in IT management (ES / federal certificate) or equivalent (BTS, professional degree) with corresponding experience
Experience
5 to 8 years of experience in workstation support and deployment
Experience in a demanding environment with a strong confidentiality culture (financial services, precision industry, international institution, audit firm)
Proven experience in VIP support; support for trader populations is a strong differentiator
Technical Skills
Mastery of Windows 11 workstation and Microsoft 365 ecosystem
SCCM: deployment, light packaging, asset management
Active Directory: account, group and rights management
VDI (Omnissa Horizon, formerly VMware Horizon): at least user-side support and troubleshooting
PowerShell: automation of routine tasks
Nexthink: desirable, not mandatory
Soft Skills
Service orientation and ease in dealing with demanding users
Autonomy, rigour, ability to document
Discretion and strict respect for confidentiality
Languages
French: fluent, working language
English: B1 level sufficient for the scope
