As a Service Technician, you are responsible for commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of modern processing and packaging equipment. You work directly at the customer’s site, conduct training sessions, and ensure reliable operation of the equipment with your technical expertise. You can expect varied service assignments, independent work, and the use of modern technologies.
Responsibilities:
You carry out acceptance tests of processing and packaging lines at the production site.
You take on the commissioning and start-up of equipment directly at the customer’s site.
You advise and train operating and maintenance personnel on site or at the production location.
You perform preventive maintenance work on individual machines and complete production lines - independently or together with the service team.
You analyse technical faults and carry out systematic fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
You undertake repair work on packaging, processing, and labelling equipment.
Qualifications:
You have completed a technical basic education, for example as an electrician, electromechanic, automation technician, or polymechanic.
You bring at least three years of professional experience as a field service technician, ideally in the environment of industrial machinery.
You have a strong electrotechnical affinity and an interest in modern technologies.
Knowledge of network technology is an advantage or you enjoy expanding your knowledge in this area.
You work solution-oriented, independently, and reliably, and keep a cool head even in demanding fault situations.
