IT Network Engineer (m/f/d)
Our Rocken partner is an independent IT consulting company with a strong focus on neutral, technology-driven consulting. For more than two decades, the team has accompanied renowned clients through complex IT transformations – from cyber security to cloud infrastructures to automation and AI topics. The practice areas are organised agilely and cover the entire spectrum of modern IT consulting. As a consultant, you work directly at clients’ sites, from home office, or at the centrally located home base. You independently shape projects, advise on an equal footing, and stay technologically up to date through targeted further training. Consulting renowned clients in demanding cloud, datacentre, WAN and access network projects
Conducting technical assessments and advising on the optimal use of network and security technologies
Conceptualising and designing end-to-end network and security architectures
Evaluating and procuring suitable network components according to project requirements
Jointly developing and implementing high-performance network solutions with clients
Qualifications:
Training as an EFZ IT specialist with several years of experience in complex network environments
Project experience in network design and routing concepts with a clear focus on data security
Very good German skills as well as a structured, proactive working style
Tech stack: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, VPN, firewall, network segmentation
