As a recruitment consultancy, we have been mandated by a prestigious international player in the high-precision and advanced industry sector to successfully conduct the search for their future Head of Product Management (M/F).
To support its growth and structure its teams, management is looking for a leadership profile capable of orchestrating the development of its future flagship products.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As the head of the department dedicated to product management, you are responsible for the operational strategy and the smooth running of all development cycles. Your main tasks revolve around the following areas:
Management and Leadership: Supervise, motivate and develop the skills of a team of product managers, establishing a true culture of performance, mutual support and autonomy.
Portfolio Management: Manage the entire portfolio of highly complex projects, ensuring a clear vision of progress and optimal prioritisation of tasks.
Technical and Strategic Support: Guide your colleagues at every key stage of the product lifecycle, from conceptualisation to serial production.
Risk Management: Map potential obstacles, anticipate bottlenecks and implement immediate corrective action plans to secure deadlines.
Governance and Reporting: Ensure data consolidation and the presentation of reliable reports to senior management and strategic committees.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously optimise standards, working methodologies and internal tools to aim for operational excellence.
Cross-functionality: Act as the main interface with the R&D, Engineering, Quality and Logistics departments to facilitate exchanges and ensure successful launches.
Representation: Participate in major decision-making meetings (technical validations, industrialisation milestones, quality audits).
Your Profile
You have a solid professional background in product management and the development of complex projects, gained within a demanding industrial environment.
You hold a higher education degree (engineering diploma, business school or equivalent university qualification).
You possess an in-depth mastery of the entire value chain, from the R&D phase to industrialisation, and know how to communicate with technical stakeholders.
