Mechanical Engineer / Calculation Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF90,000 - 110,000Our client is an established Swiss industrial company with an international focus. The emphasis is on modern technologies, high quality standards, and the continuous development of products and processes.
Role:
You will work closely with the development team to create innovative solutions to tackle complex technical challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct simulation-based analyses to assess product performance, including structural, thermal, or fluid dynamics simulations
- Develop and validate calculation models to predict product behaviour under various operating conditions
- Optimise product designs through simulation-based parameter studies and sensitivity analyses
- Interpret and communicate simulation results to the development team and relevant stakeholders
- Collaborate with other departments such as design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to integrate simulation results into product development
- Identify improvement potentials and develop innovative solutions to enhance product performance and efficiency
- Participate in technical projects and work closely with interdisciplinary teams
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in mechanical engineering, engineering sciences, or a comparable field
- Solid knowledge in simulation and calculation, preferably with relevant experience in using simulation software (e.g. ANSYS, Abaqus, COMSOL)
- Understanding of structural, thermal, or fluid dynamics relationships
- Experience in modelling and interpreting simulation results
- Good skills in using CAD software to create or edit models for simulation
- Analytical thinking and the ability to understand and analyse complex technical contexts
- Team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly
- Independent and responsible working style to manage projects efficiently and deliver results on time
- Interest in technical innovations and willingness to continuously develop
