As a Structural Engineer for Structural Design / Maintenance Management, you lead and work on demanding projects in the field of structural design as well as in the maintenance management of supply and disposal facilities. You accompany projects from the initial concept phase to construction execution and actively contribute your expertise to the further development of the department.
Responsibilities:
Leading and working on diverse projects in the field of structural design and maintenance management
Planning and implementing projects across all phases from concept development to construction execution
Performing structural calculations for various structures such as:
Water and wastewater facilities
Residential developments
Industrial plants
Municipal infrastructure buildings
Independent management of renovation and maintenance projects in the area of drinking water and wastewater pipelines
Conducting condition assessments, planning, project support, and quality control
Further development of expertise, standards, and processes within the department
Collaboration with specialist planners, site managers, drafters, authorities, suppliers, and internal specialist departments
Independent client support and consulting
Participation in acquisition, quality assurance, as well as training and development of team members
Active involvement in the Construction Technology Group and support of its further development
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a Structural Engineer ETH/FH or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience as a structural engineer
Experience in structural design and/or maintenance management is an advantage
Initial leadership experience desirable
Analytical thinking as well as high initiative and creativity
Willingness to take on technical and entrepreneurial responsibility
Team-oriented personality with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
