MTA for the Interdisciplinary Centre for Dizziness and Neurological Visual Disorders 80-100%
from 01.01.2027 or by arrangement
Your main tasks
- Performing medically indicated medical-technical examinations on patients with dizziness, balance and/or eye movement disorders (mainly: video head impulse test (vHIT), video-oculography (VOG), caloric testing, vestibular evoked myogenic potentials (VEMPs), static and dynamic posturography, rotary chair tests for positional vertigo)
- Where applicable, performing audiometric examinations (pure tone/speech audiogram, tympanometry) or OCT
- Assisting with report preparation
- Co-responsibility for material control and the operational readiness of equipment
- Collaboration with staff from other professional groups, including doctors, audiometry personnel, scheduling/secretariat, orthoptists, MPAs, physiotherapists
Your profile
- Completed medical training, preferably as MTA, hearing aid acoustician or orthoptist
- Experience in balance diagnostics, electrophysiology, audiometry and/or OCT is advantageous but not mandatory
- Solid PC user skills (Microsoft Office, electronic medical records)
- Quick comprehension, independent, efficient and precise working style
- Communicative and likeable personality with high social skills, great flexibility and resilience
- You enjoy working in a team, are technically skilled and enjoy working with people
- Very good German skills, foreign language skills are an advantage
