• You independently design complex axle gearboxes, calculate and construct them
• You create manufacturing-compliant documents as well as technical specifications for components and assemblies
• You define interfaces to the chassis and drive together with the respective specialist departments
• You act as an interface for our project managers, suppliers, and the gearbox assembly for technical questions
• You specify tests and type tests and accompany their execution
• You continuously contribute to the improvement of our products and processes

• You have a passion for realizing fascinating rail vehicle projects
• You have a completed degree as a mechanical engineer (FH/HF/ETH/TU) or a comparable qualification
• You necessarily bring experience in gearbox design, ideally in the rail vehicle sector
• You have very good 3D CAD skills, preferably in CATIA V5 / Catia V6
• Ideally, you have knowledge in the design and calculation of spur gearings in KISSsoft
• You work independently, are resilient, flexible, and communicative in German and English
