About the job
For our Zurich region, the Unit "New Construction - Special Projects" within the Division "Buildings", we are looking for reinforcement in project management. Your workplace will be our headquarters "Connect" in Opfikon .
In our New Construction Special Projects unit, we realise demanding industrial and large-scale construction projects in the Zurich region. The projects operate in a complex environment with high technical requirements, demanding approval procedures, and diverse interfaces with authorities, planners, and clients.

Tasks
What tasks await you as Project Manager GU/TU Special Projects (m/f/d)?
- Responsibility for the economic achievement of new construction projects in the Zurich region – from the start of execution to turnkey handover – while adhering to quality, deadlines, and costs
- Independent operational project management considering all safety, scheduling, and quality requirements
- Active leadership of subcontractors, suppliers, and specialist planners
- Management of the execution team, composed of site managers and other specialists
- Main contact person for clients, business partners, and authorities including ensuring transparent communication and seamless documentation
Requirements
What requirements do you bring as Project Manager GU/TU Special Projects (m/f/d)?
- Completed technical basic training with further education in construction or project management (e.g. technician HF, site manager, project manager) or a completed degree in architecture, civil engineering, or a comparable field (FH/ETH/university)
- Solid practical experience in site management as well as 2 to 5 years of experience in leading and controlling demanding new construction projects in the TU/GU or construction management environment
- Entrepreneurial thinking, assertiveness, and strong social skills
- Experience as a general contractor, preferably in an international environment
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
