Business / Project Controller 100% (Fixed-term contract from 01.01. to 31.12.2027)

The divisions SPIE ICS (Information Communication Services), SPIE MTS (Multi-Technical Services) and SPIE IFS (Integral Facility Services) offer their services through 8 sites across Switzerland in the sectors of Smart City, energy, efficient buildings and industry.

The Business/Project Controller is the financial partner of the operational teams and management. They ensure control of the P&L, project profitability, reliability of forecasts as well as anticipation of risks and opportunities.

Your mission:

Business Controlling

• Manage the P&L, from Operational Income to EBIT, and guarantee the reliability of financial analyses
• Analyse performance: activity, margin, EBIT and productivity
• Evaluate new projects according to financial and profitability objectives
• Monitor margins and variances, then coordinate corrective actions
• Conduct project and contract reviews and challenge assumptions
• Identify measures to improve operational efficiency
• Provide management with analyses on risks and opportunities
• Support Project and Service Managers in financial management
• Produce EBIT forecasts and contribute to budgets and forecasts

Project Controlling

• Prepare and communicate monthly results
• Monitor profitability, costs, turnover, margin and cash flow of projects
• Update forecasts according to project developments
• Analyse variances between Business Case, budget, forecasts and actuals
• Ensure the quality of financial data and support decision-making

• Higher education in finance, management control, accounting, business economics or equivalent field
• Proven experience in business controlling, project controlling or financial control in a project or service environment
• Proficiency in SAP FI/CO and practical experience in financial project monitoring
• Extensive experience in budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, EBIT, project profitability, risk & opportunity management
• Very good knowledge of Excel, Power BI, Power Query, financial automation and continuous improvement
• Excellent analytical, synthesis, communication and presentation skills
• Autonomy, rigour, sense of priorities and ability to work with financial and operational stakeholders
• Native French speaker with very good knowledge of English. German is an asset
• Workplace: Satigny or Bussigny
