Role:
In this role, you take responsibility as the first point of contact for IT user service and support across the entire ICT infrastructure. You actively support the service desk in maintaining workstations, resolving faults, and ensuring all systems run stably and efficiently. As a Microsoft enthusiast, you competently advise and support users on cloud and on-premise services and find pragmatic, sustainable solutions. You analyse incoming requests, prioritise them professionally, and oversee their processing until successful completion. The position is aimed at service-oriented IT professionals who want to deepen their technical expertise in ICT support.
Responsibilities:
- You install, configure, and maintain workstation and school systems for around 6,000 users and 2,000 computers and iPads.
- In this role, you receive IT faults at 1st and 2nd level, analyse them, and implement targeted solutions.
- You maintain the ticketing system and the CMDB and ensure proper documentation.
- As an IT user service and support specialist, you assist system engineers in maintaining network components and servers.
- You actively participate in IT rollouts and support the implementation of new solutions.
- In this role, you support users directly on-site or remotely and ensure smooth IT operations.
Qualifications:
- Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ or comparable professional experience in IT support
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows (from version 10) and the Microsoft 365 environment
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland and Germany as well as a category B driving licence
- Strong customer and service orientation as well as an independent and reliable working style
- Ideally experience with technologies such as Active Directory, Exchange Online, Hyper-V, Veeam, ESET, Endpoint Central, PaperCut, Watchguard, Cambium Networks, or Innovaphone
