Head of Civil Engineering Construction (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF135,000 - 145,000Role:
In this role, you take on the leading responsibility for the execution of demanding civil engineering projects, ensuring their quality, schedule, and cost compliance. You are responsible for planning, organising, and coordinating construction processes and efficiently involving all internal and external project participants. As a communicative and team-oriented leader, you lead and develop your employees and promote constructive, solution-oriented collaboration. With your analytical thinking, you identify optimisation potentials in processes and projects and implement appropriate measures purposefully. In doing so, you contribute significantly with your expertise and experience to the successful and sustainable realisation of civil engineering projects.
Responsibilities:
Operational leadership of the civil engineering department
Planning and monitoring of the entire project execution from contract award to successful project completion
Ensuring compliance with quality, safety and applicable standards
Responsibility for budget and cost control at the project level
Leadership, support and continuous development of the civil engineering specialist areas
Maintaining collaboration and communication with clients, authorities and other stakeholders
Qualifications:
Further training as a federally certified master builder or construction manager with business expertise or a completed degree as a civil engineer FH/ETH
Several years of practical experience in civil engineering as well as in managing demanding and complex projects from planning to implementation
Proven technical and personnel leadership experience
Confident handling of MS Office and ERP systems, ideally Abacus
Fluent German language skills in spoken and written form
