Quality Controller

For one of our clients who needs to strengthen their teams, we are looking for a Quality Controller specialised in watchmaking

Responsibilities

• Control watch components on dimensional, functional and aesthetic levels according to current procedures.
• Carry out measurements using standard control tools and ensure traceability of results.
• Identify, document and report detected non-conformities.
• Define and optimise control methods (instruments, fixtures and measurement methods).
• Validate the conformity of components before stocking.
• Record control data and contribute to the quality assessment of suppliers.
• Ensure follow-up of supplier returns in collaboration with quality contacts.
• Participate in updating control ranges and continuous process improvement.
• Occasionally perform controls at suppliers and formalise findings.
• Propose actions aimed at improving quality and service performance.

Profile

• Training in a technical field
• Proven experience in a similar position in watchmaking essential
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to listen, propose, suggest and be proactive
• Ability to decide and take initiatives in a structured manner
• Discreet, reliable, trustworthy behaviour, with a neat presentation suitable for internal and external contacts.
• Ability to train, advise and support colleagues on aspects related to controls, quality criteria and good measurement practices.
