Network & Security Engineer - Cisco Specialist (m/f/d)

Work location: Solothurn region (2 days home office possible)
Responsibilities:
Technical leadership in planning and implementing network and security infrastructures in demanding projects
Operation, maintenance, and further development of SDN and access networks (SDA, ACI, Catalyst, Nexus, WLAN)
Project work from tendering to handover to operations (including concept, setup, testing, documentation)
Responsibility for security components (Cisco ISE, WSA, ESA) within integrated architectures
Promotion of knowledge transfer within the peer group as a product expert
Participation in on-call duties to ensure system availability
Design of automated deployments and uniform configurations
Qualifications:
Professional with a Federal VET Diploma in IT and at least three years of experience in network operations
Deep technical understanding of Cisco enterprise technologies, certification (e.g. CCNP) desirable
Experience with network security, access control, and software-defined networking
High sense of responsibility, analytical thinking, and ability to work independently
Strong communication skills in German as well as technical English
