Service Technician (m/f/d)
Our client is an internationally active Swiss machine and plant engineering company focusing on innovative process solutions for the manufacturing industry. With high engineering competence, state-of-the-art technologies, and many years of experience, the company develops and realises customised plants for customers worldwide. Role:
Are you passionate about technology and looking for a challenge with lots of variety and international assignments? As a Service Technician (m/f/d), you take responsibility for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of machines and plant components for fruit processing. Your expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical engineering makes you an important contact for customers worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out repairs, maintenance, and overhauls on our machines and plants on site
- Technical analysis and problem-solving: You examine the task directly at the customer’s site and seek the most efficient solution (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical)
- Customer training and consulting: You train our customers in handling the machines and advise them on the choice of spare parts and possible modifications
- Travel assignments of 1-5 weeks, which make up to 90% of your activity, followed by longer leisure phases after the assignments
Qualifications:
- Completed basic mechanical training with solid knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical engineering
- Experience in plant and apparatus construction, especially in assembly and commissioning
- Good knowledge of MS Office and advantageously WinCC flex, Step 7, and SAP
- Enjoyment of international customer contact as well as talent in organising and coordinating
- High flexibility, initiative, and resilience characterise you
- Very good German and English skills are required; additional languages are a plus
