What you can get moving.
- In this role, you lead the Planning and Allocation team for key resources, namely the machines for track construction and the equipment for their transport. You manage the employees reporting to you according to the directives of the section manager and the SBB management guidelines.
- You are responsible for the planning and scheduling of all machine and transport resources, both long, medium and short term, according to economic principles. Your work has a significant impact on the Group’s goals regarding punctuality and customer satisfaction.
- From a technical perspective, you are responsible for contracts and thus represent the users’ interests in tenders and in the procurement of services with construction machines. You monitor the budget and check the services provided by private companies for SBB, BLS and TPF.
- You continuously improve planning and allocation in terms of digitalisation and also lead the sector strategically.
What you bring with you.
- Thanks to your persuasive ability and assertiveness, you communicate in a targeted and appropriate manner with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Preferably, you have already worked in the railway sector and can boast several years of managerial experience in a similar position.
- You have a basic technical or railway education, equivalent to a technical degree at the level of SSS / SUP / university or equivalent further education. You have also completed further training in logistics and/or business administration.
- You are well versed in SAP systems and common Office applications. In addition, you have an affinity for the IT sector and are willing to adapt to applications specific to your sector.
- You have excellent knowledge of German (min. C1) and are able to communicate in French (min. B1).
