Accountant with Professional Certificate (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, you take responsibility for the smooth running of all finance-related processes and actively contribute your skills in an international environment. You work closely with internal and external stakeholders, thereby creating the basis for transparent, reliable, and available financial data. You will benefit from a lot of creative freedom, independent working, and short decision-making paths. You can expect an open, straightforward collaboration in a motivated, goal-oriented environment as well as exciting tasks where you can grow and further develop your strengths.
Responsibilities:
- You take sole responsibility for the financial accounting of the Sihl Holding companies, including monthly and annual financial statements
- In this role, you create and further develop liquidity reporting and ensure payment readiness
- As an accountant (m/f/d), you submit financial data punctually to Group F&C according to the Sihl Group Accounting Manual
- You prepare budgets and quarterly forecasts and perform controlling tasks as well as ad-hoc analyses
- In this role, you coordinate intercompany billing of services to subsidiaries and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- As an accountant (m/f/d), you coordinate cooperation with the external audit firm and support audits as well as the implementation of the new ERP system Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
Qualifications:
- Ideally, you hold a professional certificate in finance and accounting or are on the way to obtaining one
- You have professional experience in accounting and/or auditing
- You have good knowledge of direct and indirect taxes
- You communicate confidently in German and well in English, both spoken and written
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and ideally have knowledge of Microsoft D365 F and O
- You work independently, proactively, and reliably and are characterised by team orientation and high flexibility
