Crane Operator Track Construction 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Operating our rail-bound track construction cranes for the renewal of track systems

• Supporting the team as a load slinger

• Work preparation: prior site inspections with expertise for crane deployment

• Assisting with maintenance and repair work on machines at the construction sites

• Carrying out overhaul work on machines in winter at the maintenance locations

• Adhering to quality and safety regulations on the construction sites and in operations

• Careful handling and diligent maintenance of machines and work equipment

• Place of work: Entire Switzerland

What do I need to be successful?

• Technical apprenticeship as a polymechanic/machine locksmith, agricultural machinery, lorry or construction machinery mechanic, as well as electrician/electrical fitter and automation technician

• Crane operator licence category A

• Experience with diesel engines and hydraulic units is an advantage

• Safe behaviour in the track area

• Reliability and punctuality as well as willingness for changing working hours and locations

• High commitment and ability to work in a team

• Physical resilience and accustomed to working outdoors

• Car driving licence (and a vehicle) required for travel to the construction sites

• Good German skills are an advantage
