The fully renovated Gustav Wenk residential building is located in the green heart of the St. Johanns district. Up to eleven adolescents and young adults with partly challenging behaviour find a temporary home here during their professional assessment or training within a relatively intensive care framework.
Your Role
You accompany young people in a professional measure in their daily living and independently take on group responsibility. In doing so, you support the young adults both in achieving a successful training qualification and on the path to independent living, promoting their practical life skills. Organisational and administrative tasks, such as progress documentation, complete your range of duties.
After familiarisation and if interested, relief assignments can also be extended to other residential homes of the Vocational Integration Living.
Your Profile
- Completed training as a social pedagogue
- Professional experience with young people with increased care needs is an advantage
- Ability to decide quickly and confidently in crisis situations
- Innovative, independent and solution-oriented working style
- Availability at short notice
- Willingness to work irregular hours (including weekend duties), after familiarisation also night on-call duties (no split shifts)
