Heiwa Solution is a concierge and rental management company specialising in holiday accommodation. We currently manage around 200 apartments and chalets across about fifteen destinations in Valais and the Fribourg region, as well as the Hôtel de la Poste in Sierre.

We are growing rapidly and aim to more than double our portfolio and open new destinations in the coming years. To support this development, we are looking for our future Technical & Maintenance Manager.

This position adapts to your profile. If you have experience in technical management or property management, it will be more focused on coordination, supplier networks and structuring the department. If you are primarily a versatile technician who enjoys working on site, it will be more focused on interventions, with possible progression towards management as we grow.

🎯 Your mission

You are responsible for seeing each technical request through from reporting to resolution.

Your role combines on-site work, coordination and management. Depending on the intervention, you choose the most effective solution:

• carry out small repairs and routine interventions yourself;
• call on a craftsman or partner company for specialised work;
• assign simple tasks to cleaning teams during their visits.

You then ensure full follow-up: diagnosis, quotes, approval, intervention, inspection, invoicing and re-invoicing.

🛠 Your main responsibilities

On-site interventions

• Small repairs and furniture assembly
• Basic plumbing
• Locks and access systems
• TV, Wi-Fi and connected equipment
• Technical commissioning of new accommodation

Managing interventions

• Sort, prioritise and track maintenance requests
• Choose the right solution and the right person for each intervention
• Coordinate technical emergencies, especially during busy periods
• Follow each intervention through to completion

Managing technical follow-up of accommodation

• Respond to technical requests from owners
• Diagnose and document issues
• Organise quotes and obtain approvals before work
• Check invoices and monitor re-invoicing with the administrative team

Develop our network of contractors

Building a reliable network across all our regions will be a key part of the role:

• Recruit and retain independent contractors
• Find the right craftsmen and partner companies
• Negotiate rates and collaboration terms
• Control the quality of services provided
• Monitor costs per intervention and identify the most effective solutions

Structure and develop the technical department

We are looking for someone who does not just solve daily problems but wants to improve the way we work:

• Implement sustainable solutions rather than repetitive repairs
• Improve our tools and processes
• Develop preventive maintenance
• Build a technical network capable of supporting our growth

👤 The profile we are looking for

You are above all organised. You know how to manage several requests simultaneously, prioritise emergencies and follow an intervention through to resolution.

You are technically resourceful and autonomous. You carry out routine small interventions and know quickly when to call a specialist.

You are comfortable with owners, travellers, teams and service providers.

Your skills:

• Training or proven experience in technical management, maintenance, property management, facility management, concierge services, construction trades or a similar field
• Strong building knowledge gained on site
• Experience managing suppliers or subcontractors is a plus
• Good written communication in French
• Comfortable with numbers: quotes, invoice checking, cost tracking
• Good command of digital tools, interest in automation and artificial intelligence
• Fluent French, operational English, German is a real asset
• Category B driving licence essential
