Senior ICT Engineer – Microsoft Cloud & Hybrid Platforms

The Suva Clinics in Sion and Bellikon support people after an accident or illness on their path back to daily life, work, and greater independence. Our ICT contributes directly to this: stable systems, secure data, reliable communication, and digital solutions that support medical, nursing, therapeutic, and administrative teams in their daily work.

We are evolving our ICT: from historically site-built environments towards a common, modern, and hybrid ICT for the Suva Clinics. At the centre of this evolution: Microsoft 365, Entra ID, hybrid identities, modern platforms, secure access, and stable operation.

For this, we are looking for: an experienced technical personality, very comfortable in the Microsoft environment, and motivated to actively contribute to this transformation.

What it is about

You work on the Sion site and are part of an ICT organisation active on both sites. Your area of expertise is around Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Windows Server, and hybrid platforms.

You contribute to operating our current environment in a stable manner, evolving it, and gradually standardising it. For this, you collaborate closely with the teams in Sion and Bellikon as well as with our external partners.

Your tasks:

• You operate and develop our Microsoft and infrastructure platforms, in particular Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and Windows Server.

• You contribute to the development of hybrid identities, secure access, and modern operational processes.

• You participate in topics such as virtualisation, backup, restore, monitoring, and operational documentation.

• You help harmonise the ICT infrastructure between Sion and Bellikon and establish common standards.

• You automate recurring tasks and make operations more robust, transparent, and efficient.

• You analyse incidents in a structured manner, identify causes, and implement sustainable solutions.

• You participate in projects, for example in the modernisation of communication, access, platforms, and clinical systems.

• You provide 2nd and 3rd level support and participate in the on-call service within the team.

• You can situate network and security topics within operations and handle them with internal specialists and external partners.

What you bring

• You are an experienced ICT Engineer with very good knowledge of the Microsoft environment, in particular Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Windows Server.

• You have experience with hybrid environments and understand the interaction between cloud, on-premises systems, identities, access rights, and secure access.

• You can independently analyse complex technical problems, identify their causes, and implement solid solutions.

• You work in a structured manner, document clearly, and ensure that knowledge remains available within the team.

• You have the ambition not only to operate existing solutions but to improve, standardise, and make them more stable in the long term.

• You understand the main network and security topics in operations, such as VPN, firewalling, segmentation, Aruba, or Palo Alto. You do not need to be a specialist.

• You speak French very well. German or English is an advantage for collaboration between the two sites.

• Your seniority is based on solid IT training, relevant practical experience, and the ability to safely evolve demanding ICT environments. Microsoft certifications are a plus.
