The scope of activities includes the development of machines for cable handling, cutting and stripping technology, as well as complete production lines. You coordinate the operational procurement of technical components and materials.
Create supplier inquiries, obtain offers, and compare conditions.
Negotiate prices, delivery times, and payment terms with existing and new suppliers.
Check order confirmations and systematically follow up on open orders.
Intervene directly with suppliers in case of delivery delays, shortages, or deviations.
Continuously ensure material availability for production and assembly.
Maintain procurement-relevant data on articles and suppliers in the ERP system.
Review existing purchasing processes and contribute to their further development.
Qualifications:
Completed technical basic training with commercial further education or comparable qualification.
Alternatively, commercial basic training with several years of experience in technical purchasing.
Professional experience in purchasing, procurement, or planning in a manufacturing company.
Good technical understanding of components, materials, and industrial production processes.
Experience dealing with suppliers and confidence in price and condition negotiations.
Independent, structured, and reliable working style with consistent deadline tracking.
Good IT user skills and practical experience with ERP systems.
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form; English skills are an advantage.
