Machining Workshop Manager (M/F)

Mandated by one of our clients, we are looking for a Machining Workshop Manager (M/F):

You will lead a team of 12 people, combining leadership and strong technical expertise, your main responsibilities are as follows:

Management & Organisation: Plan, organise and distribute the team's work to ensure production objectives (deadlines, quality, costs). You support your colleagues in developing their skills and autonomy.

On-site Technical Support: Drawing on your own machine experience, you act as the technical reference for the team.

Quality & Problem Solving: Ensure strict compliance of components.

Continuous Improvement: Be proactive in optimising machining processes, assemblies, reducing setup times (SMED) and maintaining an optimal working environment (5S).

Profile:

Education: Graduated from a technical training in mechanics, microtechnology or machining.

Field Experience: As a Programmer, CNC Setter or Toolmaker, before successfully progressing to a management position.

Interpersonal Skills: You are a hands-on manager ("people leader"), recognised for your listening skills, pedagogy, but also your rigour and ability to make decisions.
