Legal Intern for the Municipalities and Nationality Division

As a legal intern within the Municipalities and Nationality Division, you will support the legal officer of the Naturalisation Sector in managing various projects related to the implementation of the Vaud citizenship law. By joining this dynamic sector, you will notably contribute to the development of guidelines, practical sheets, as well as the preparation of training sessions aimed at internal and external audiences. You may also be required to conduct research regarding resident control matters.

• Conduct information monitoring on naturalisation and resident control, including tracking case law
• Draft internal and external communication materials
• Carry out legal research, draft legal opinions, and participate in reviewing municipal regulations concerning resident control
• Draft formal decision projects and responses to appeals
• Participate in training related to the subject and lead practical workshops
• Plan, organise, and follow up on internal and external working sessions

• Master's degree in law (completed training)
• Interest in public administration and the field of naturalisations
• Excellent writing skills
• Analytical and synthetic thinking, great rigour
• Organisational skills and interpersonal abilities

This is a fixed-term contract of 6 months, available for a person nearing the completion of their training or who has just finished. Candidates with confirmed experience as a legal officer will not be considered.

Remuneration amount: CHF 1,820.90 without 13th month salary.
