The Children’s Hospital Zurich, with around 3,000 employees, is the largest university children’s hospital in Switzerland and one of the leading centres for paediatrics and adolescent medicine in Europe. In addition to the entire spectrum of paediatric and paediatric surgical care, the Children’s Hospital also offers a unique children’s rehab in Affoltern am Albis. Not only are the most modern devices and the highest quality in treatment and therapy emphasised here, but also a good sense for interpersonal matters: in a family-like environment, the staff accompany children and adolescents step by step on the path back to as independent a life as possible.
Your Tasks
- You support the qualified nursing staff in their daily work.
- You take on delegated nursing tasks, perform domestic duties, and run errands.
- You attend to the concerns of patients and their families and refer them to the responsible qualified nursing staff.
- You prepare patient places according to specifications and in compliance with hygiene guidelines.
- During therapy-free times, you engage with our patients, e.g. playing, crafting, or going for walks, etc.
- Checking and ordering consumables will be delegated to you as needed.
- You work 3 days per week in the early shift from 07:15 to 12:50.
Your Profile
- Care assistant SRK or similar qualification
- Good German skills (at least at language level B2)
- Good social skills combined with a heart for children
- Strong organisational skills with a hands-on mentality
- Team player with precise and efficient working style
- Flexible, resilient, and positive personality
