Role:
In this position, you take on a technically demanding role involving modern communication and security infrastructures. You combine engineering, project work and 3rd-level support and are called upon where complex network problems require thorough technical analysis.
Responsibilities:
Planning and implementation of IP and communication networks for demanding customer environments.
Development of technical concepts and architectures considering availability, security and lifecycle.
Configuration, integration and commissioning of routing, switching and security components.
Analysis and sustainable resolution of complex faults in 3rd-level support.
Technical support of customer networks during projects, migrations and service deployments.
Support of project management in architecture, pre-sales and technical offers.
Participation in the further development of existing solutions and the building of additional competencies, for example in the area of microwave radio.
Qualifications:
IT education at HF, Bachelor, Master or MAS level or a comparable qualification.
Several years of practical experience in network engineering.
Very good knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and network security.
Experience with enterprise solutions from Cisco, Juniper or Check Point.
Ideally knowledge or certifications in Cisco/IP communication.
Interest in microwave radio technologies and complex communication solutions.
Very good German and good English.
