Your new tasks

• Safe driving of a lorry up to 40 tonnes

• Correct loading and securing of goods

• Transport of hazardous goods (ADR/SDR certificate)

• Perform maintenance work on the lorry

• Fix breakdowns and technical faults on the lorry yourself

• Driving safety training on the test track

What you bring with you

• Compulsory schooling completed and you will be 16 years old before 1 October of your first year of apprenticeship

• Reliability

• Independence

• Physical fitness – a medical (traffic medicine) examination is mandatory

• Manual dexterity

• Outgoing personality

• Knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage
