For our client, an established Swiss company in metal construction, we are looking for a reliable, skilled, and motivated individual as a Metalworker Workshop & Assembly 80-100% (m/f) in the Schlieren ZH / Limmattal area.
You can expect a down-to-earth working environment with a modern workshop, varied tasks, and a well-coordinated team. Here, not only clean work counts, but also mutual support, personal responsibility, and enjoyment of metalworking.
Tasks
- Manufacture and processing of metal constructions according to plans and technical specifications- Cutting, drilling, grinding, welding, and processing various metal components
- Assembly and preparation of constructions and components in the workshop
- Carrying out assembly work at customers’ sites and construction sites
- Performing adjustment, repair, and maintenance work
- Independent inspection of completed work regarding dimensional accuracy and quality
- Proper use of machines, tools, and equipment
- Participation in diverse custom-made products and customer-specific solutions
- Close cooperation with workshop, assembly, and other specialists
- Compliance with applicable safety and quality regulations
Profile
- Completed basic training in metal construction with EFZ or EBA- Professional experience in metal construction is an advantage; motivated career starters are also welcome
- Manual dexterity and good technical understanding
- Enjoyment of varied work in the workshop and on assembly
- Safe and careful handling of machines, tools, and materials
- Independent, reliable, and precise working style
- Team-oriented and straightforward personality
- Willingness to learn new things and develop professionally
- Good German skills for teamwork and assembly
- Driving licence category B is an advantage
Additional Information
This position does not involve a monotonous daily routine. You will work on different metal construction tasks, both in the workshop and on assembly, and can apply your craftsmanship in a versatile way.The team works straightforwardly and supports each other. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to take responsibility independently and develop professionally.
