Laboratory Technician with Federal VET Diploma (M/F)

On behalf of one of our clients, a prestigious manufacturer in the Geneva area, we are looking for a Laboratory Technician with Federal VET Diploma (M/F) to strengthen their Assayer Laboratory, specialised in the analysis of precious metals.

Your future responsibilities:

• Carry out mineral physico-chemical analyses on precious metal products, respecting quality requirements and established procedures.

• Perform various checks and analyses to ensure product compliance.

• Ensure monitoring, adjustment and proper functioning of laboratory equipment.

• Carry out necessary checks during manufacturing and contribute to the reliability of results.

• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and optimisation of laboratory practices.

• Strictly apply procedures and requirements specific to an accredited environment.

Your profile:

• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma as a laboratory technician, ideally in physics, metallurgy or chemistry.

• Possession of an Assayer diploma is a valued asset.

• Comfortable with material characterisation methods and ideally familiar with precious metals.

• Aware of quality, traceability and rigour requirements in an accredited laboratory environment.

• Recognised for your manual dexterity, methodical mind, sense of responsibility and autonomy.

• Possessing good interpersonal skills, an open mind and a real ability to collaborate within a team.
