Joy in medicine is at the heart of what we do.

Our dedicated team consists, in addition to the chief physician and the deputy chief physician, of around ten senior physicians in General Internal Medicine as well as numerous specialists. Together, we support and promote the training of 35 assistant physicians.

Our patients are at the centre of our actions. In the Medical Clinic, we care for around 5,000 inpatients annually as well as 30,000 outpatients in various specialist fields. We offer medicine at a high level and an inspiring working environment with development opportunities.

To complement our team, we are looking for a Senior Physician Internal Medicine to start immediately or by arrangement.

Senior Physician Internal Medicine

You will take on

• Senior medical care of patients, as well as supervision of assistant physicians in your area of responsibility
• Participation in the senior medical on-call system of the Medical Clinic
• Commitment to education, further training and continuing education, while also benefiting from a strong internal teaching culture
• Collaboration in projects and optimisation of internal processes
• Depending on qualifications and interests, you will take on management tasks as well as professional responsibility and receive corresponding scope for design

You bring with you

• Federal or Swiss-recognised specialist title in General Internal Medicine as well as several years of clinical experience at senior physician level
• Enthusiasm for inpatient medicine and joy in the training and further education of assistant physicians
• Experience in clinical leadership and organisational processes or a strong interest in actively contributing to the further development and shaping of such processes
• Team-oriented, communicative and responsible personality with high social competence
• Strong ability for interdisciplinary thinking and acting as well as constructive collaboration with various professional groups and specialist departments
• Excellent German language skills and experience in the Swiss healthcare system
