Senior Backend Engineer NodeJS / TypeScript "” Geneva

The context

You will join the team responsible for the card management system (credit, debit, virtual): transaction processing, ordering and manufacturing, reconciliation. Part of the platform, currently in PHP/Symfony, is being rewritten in NodeJS. You will analyse existing components to design and implement their Node equivalents, in collaboration with architects and tech leads.

100% backend position. NodeJS is used server-side, in complex environments with high security requirements and multiple databases (PostgreSQL, DB2, SQL Server).

Your profile

• Minimum 7 years of backend development experience
• Excellent command of the NodeJS and TypeScript ecosystem
• Good knowledge of the PHP/Symfony ecosystem
• Excellent understanding of SOLID, DDD and CQRS principles
• API design: OpenAPI, REST, GraphQL
• Microservices and event-driven architecture; messaging (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and asynchronous delivery patterns
• CI/CD (GitLab or equivalent), Docker, SQL and ORM, Git
• Degree in computer engineering or equivalent
• Fluent French, B2 English (interactions with international sites)

A plus: experience in the card domain or banking and financial sector.
