The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 collaborators. The Rennaz Hospital Centre has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. To strengthen the team in the Pulmonology Unit, we are looking for a:
Respiratory Physiology Nurse Technician for Polygraphy Reading M/F at 60%
The main duties of this position are
In close collaboration with the doctors of the Pulmonology Unit, your activity will be mainly devoted to the reading and technical analysis of respiratory polygraphies, in compliance with the procedures defined by the pulmonologists.
You may also be called upon to participate in pulmonary function tests, thus offering a versatile activity within the unit. Training and support may be offered to develop your skills in this area.
We require
- A HES nursing diploma or an equivalent qualification recognised by the CRS, or training as a respiratory physiology technician or an equivalent qualification
- Training or experience in pulmonary function testing, respiratory polygraphy or sleep medicine
- Recognised experience in pulmonology
- Analytical skills, rigour and precision in data interpretation
- Autonomy in work organisation and a sense of responsibility
- Motivation to develop a versatile activity and also participate in pulmonary function tests
- Comfort with IT tools and specialised software
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written
- Team spirit, good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with various professionals
