Senior Physician in Medicine and Emergency Medicine (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, as a specialist in General Internal Medicine, you take responsibility in medicine and emergency medicine while maintaining good security in your planning. You engage in a versatile acute setting and contribute your expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of internal medicine and emergency medicine patients. You benefit from fixed working days and the option of job sharing, which allows you a working model that suits your current life situation. At the same time, you use this position as an attractive development prospect towards becoming a senior consultant and actively shape your professional and career development.
Responsibilities:
- You are an integral part of the lively clinical operation and contribute to the high-quality, holistic care of patients
- In this role, you care for inpatients on the ward and IMC as well as outpatients in the emergency department
- You actively support the training and education of assistant doctors
- In this position, you work collegially and closely with other departments as well as with referring physicians
- As a Senior Physician in Medicine and Emergency Medicine, you utilise the possibility of flexible working time models such as job sharing or fixed working days
- You take the opportunity to develop towards becoming a senior consultant
Qualifications:
- You hold a specialist title in General Internal Medicine (with foreign diploma recognised by MEBEKO).
- Ideally, you have experience in sonography or wish to deepen your ultrasound skills with the support of certified tutors.
- You appreciate the challenge of working independently in the familiar environment of a smaller hospital.
- You are a team player with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration.
- You are committed with pleasure to the promotion of assistant doctors.
- You demonstrate a high willingness to innovate and commitment to the further development of the internal medicine department.
