Job Description
The projects, operations and data warehouse sector plays a fundamental role within the General Directorate of Taxation by facilitating the implementation of IT tools. Comprising around thirty dedicated collaborators, the team actively contributes to optimising internal processes and improving the efficiency of our service to the public.
In close collaboration with the State IT service, the role of the projects sector extends from gathering business requirements to their specifications, supporting development teams through to testing. The projects sector also coordinates all information system operations and the implementation of reporting tools.
By joining the projects, operations and data warehouse sector as an office assistant and applications support, you will become part of the Planning and Operations domain. You will provide assistance and support to users on office tools and become a key player in managing application access.
You will support the domain manager in quality control activities (completeness and compliance) of tax letters produced daily at the Vaud State printing centre, and contribute to the development of templates.
Responsibilities
Provide support and advice to users on the proper use of their workstation and office environment.
Contribute to the security and management of internal and external application access rights.
Assist the domain manager in monitoring the production of letters (quality control of print outputs).
Carry out occasional tasks.
Qualifications
- Federal VET Diploma with professional maturity or ES diploma in computer science or business informatics
Optional certification: Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS)
Optional certification: ITIL Foundation (request and incident management)
Successful initial experience in a similar position, either in user support or in designing letter templates
- Proficiency in office software and the Adobe suite, notably InDesign and Acrobat Pro
- Ability to diagnose simple to medium problems and guide users
