A Chemistry or Physics-Chemistry Teacher for Upper Secondary Education

The Florimont Institute, founded in 1905, is a private Catholic school welcoming over 1,700 students aged 3 to 18 each year. French-speaking with an international vocation, it offers the opportunity to prepare for a Swiss gymnasial Maturity (French-speaking or bilingual French-English), a French general Baccalaureate, as well as a bilingual French-English International Baccalaureate.

As part of a 6-month maternity leave replacement, we are looking for:

· Master’s degree in Chemistry or Physics-Chemistry, or equivalent

· Recognised teaching qualification required (MASE, PGCE – QTS with induction, CAPES or equivalent)

· CDIP recognition desirable

· Experience teaching Chemistry at upper secondary level, Swiss Maturity level

· Experience teaching within the French Baccalaureate framework is a plus

· Teaching in English is desirable, a real asset.

Workload: Between 13 and 19 periods, depending on ability to teach in English

Start date: 6 January 2027 until 30 June 2027
