For an established Swiss company in the packaging industry, we are looking for an experienced professional in procurement. You develop procurement strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and identify potential for better conditions and processes.
You develop effective procurement strategies, sustainably optimise cost structures, strengthen the supplier network, and contribute your expertise to the successful further development of procurement. Together with interdisciplinary teams, you create solutions that have an impact far beyond pure procurement.
Daily Business
- Monitor procurement markets & further develop the supplier portfolio
- Identify & implement savings potential
- Build & develop supplier relationships
- Negotiate prices, framework agreements & individual contracts
- Optimise procurement of repairs, maintenance & spare parts
- Support cross-site projects
- Participate in international & cross-departmental projects
Your Background
- Experience in procurement within an industrial company, paper / packaging ideal
- Experience in procurement within an industrial company, paper / packaging ideal
- Further training in procurement, e.g. procurement specialist with federal certificate
- Negotiation skills, assertiveness & clear communication
- Technical understanding
- Experience with contract & project management
- Good knowledge of SAP
- German+++, English+++
- Interest in digital tools & AI
