Operations Agent – Roads / Green Spaces

About the job

Main Mission

We are looking for a person specialised in green space management. Under the supervision of the head of department, they will be responsible in particular for the management and monitoring of wooded areas, mowing, planning and planting flowers, pruning and maintenance of vegetated areas.

Other missions

• Actively collaborate with the caretaking and technical services,
• Participate in roadworks and maintenance of eco-points,
• Maintain communal roads and carry out minor repairs on communal roads,
• Participate in the management and monitoring of the municipal territory,
• Participate in the management and monitoring of industrial service installations (notably water and electricity),
• Participate in the snow duty service,
• Participate in various events organised by the Municipality.

Desired profile

• Federal VET Diploma (CFC) essential. Preferably, a CFC as an operations agent and/or in the field of green spaces or an equivalent qualification.
• Aptitude to work in a team and independently,
• Versatility allowing the fulfilment of all road and caretaking tasks,
• Driving licence B (BE an advantage).
• Good physical condition,
• Accustomed to outdoor work,
• Initiative, flexibility and a sense of responsibility and confidentiality,
• Ease in communication and interpersonal relations, interest in serving the public,
• Positive personality enjoying challenges, exchanging ideas and seeking constructive solutions,
• Knowledge of common computer tools.
