Active in Geneva for over 50 years, this human-sized fiduciary supports a diverse clientele in accounting, auditing, taxation, business management, and fiduciary services. As part of a replacement for a colleague, the firm is seeking a Senior Auditor. The position is aimed at an experienced person wishing to take a central role within the department and gradually become the true right-hand person to the audit manager.
Your tasks with your new employer
- Independently carry out limited review engagements for a diverse clientele
- Participate in special audits and various review assignments according to client needs
- Plan audit work, analyse risks, and define appropriate control procedures
- Examine accounts and accounting elements to identify any anomalies or points of attention
- Document review work and contribute to the preparation of corresponding reports
- Analyse accounting and financial issues encountered during mandates
- Prepare tax returns for legal entities
- Complete various forms and documents intended for the Federal Tax Administration (FTA)
- Collaborate with different departments of the fiduciary to provide a comprehensive approach to client files
- Advise clients on issues encountered during assignments
- Support the audit department manager in managing and monitoring mandates
- Participate in process improvement and the development of the audit activity
You offer your new employer
- Proven solid professional experience in auditing and review in Switzerland, ideally at least 5 years
- Having accounting expertise is a significant asset
- Master the principles of Swiss accounting and review techniques
- Have practical experience with limited reviews and, ideally, special audits
- Demonstrate excellent analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills in accounting matters
- Work autonomously while collaborating closely with the department manager
- Show rigor, reliability, critical thinking, and excellent organisational skills
- Communicate easily with a diverse clientele and know how to build a relationship of trust
- Be open to pursuing training in accounting expertise or any other relevant audit-related training
