E3D Draftsman – Industrial Piping M/F

We are looking for one of our clients for an E3D Draftsman specialised in industrial piping, for a 5-month assignment starting as soon as possible (ASAP).

The position is based on an industrial site near Villeneuve, in the canton of Vaud.

You will mainly work on 3D modelling of piping networks, designing supports and producing isometric drawings using the E3D software.

Experience in a chemical or petrochemical environment, particularly on ATEX sites, is an advantage.

Location: Near Villeneuve, Canton of Vaud (Switzerland)

Duration: 5-month assignment

Your tasks

• 3D modelling of industrial piping networks on AVEVA E3D.

• Design and integration of piping lines, supports and associated equipment.

• Creation and verification of piping isometric drawings.

• Reading and interpretation of P&ID diagrams.

• Compliance with piping classes, technical specifications and industrial standards.

• Identification and resolution of clashes on 3D models.

• Updating models and participating in technical reviews.

Profile sought

• Technical training in industrial design, mechanical or piping (CFC, BTS, DUT or equivalent).

• Proven experience with AVEVA E3D.

• Proven experience in industrial piping modelling and producing isometrics.

• Good knowledge of supports, components and piping standards.

• Experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry is appreciated.

• Experience on ATEX sites is a plus.

• Fluent French is mandatory.
