Role:

Some business applications are critical to entire production processes. As Application Manager: Integration & Releases, you keep these systems stable, secure, and performant. You think beyond the individual application and trace data flows to the root cause of a problem. With your analytical approach, you are the first point of contact when things get technically challenging. At the same time, you drive improvements and shape the further development of the application landscape.

Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the operation of your business applications, including personalisation software, and accompany them throughout their entire lifecycle.

• Furthermore, you monitor data flows in formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV and ensure their consistency with targeted validations.

• You provide 1st and 2nd level support, analyse disruptions to the root cause, and involve manufacturers if necessary.

• You carefully plan releases, updates, and upgrades and test them before going live with system and integration tests.

• Additionally, you maintain roles and permissions and implement business requirements into concrete configurations.

• You also contribute to digitalisation projects, lead technical sub-projects, and document your systems comprehensibly.

Qualifications:

• With a computer science education, a degree in business informatics, or a comparable qualification, you have laid a solid foundation.

• You bring several years of practical experience in application engineering or application operations, ideally also with personalisation or configuration software.

• You confidently connect systems via web services and REST APIs and are well versed in interface management.

• Furthermore, you use SQL (Structured Query Language), logging, and monitoring to narrow down errors across data, interface, and application levels.

• You are experienced in change, release, and problem management and have successfully implemented role and permission concepts.

• Moreover, you remain calm under pressure, explain technical matters clearly, and negotiate confidently in both German and English.
