About the job
Enjoyment in medicine is our goal! We are a management team in Internal Medicine at the Cantonal Hospital consisting of the Chief Physician, Senior Consultant, two Senior Physicians (mbF) and four Senior Physicians, who together train 35 assistant doctors. The focus is on the patients; we treat 5,000 inpatients and 50,000 outpatients in the Medical Clinic. Under one roof, you work closely with specialists from various disciplines.

To complement our team, we are looking for an immediate or agreed appointment of a
Senior Physician (mbF) General Internal Medicine
You will take on
- Management medical care of inpatients, as well as supervision of assistant doctors in your area of responsibility. You will be part of a team and supported by experienced management physicians
- Participation in the management medical on-call system of the Medical Clinic. Under normal operations, you will have no weekend duties (except holiday blocks).
- Commitment to training, further education and continuing education, while also benefiting from a strong internal teaching culture
You bring with you
- Completed or well-advanced specialist training in General Internal Medicine. If the specialist title is not yet obtained, employment as Deputy Senior Physician is also possible. With the assumption of additional functions and corresponding experience, employment as Senior Physician (mbF) is possible
- Enjoyment of ward work and teaching doctors in training
- Excellent German language skills
- Team-oriented, flexible personality
