Architect (m/f/d)
Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a Project Development / Existing Buildings Architect for the development and planning of demanding construction projects. You will accompany projects from site and existing condition analysis through feasibility studies and architectural concepts to project planning and implementation. A particular focus is on repurposing, transformations and further development of existing buildings taking into account design, functional and economic requirements. You will work closely with clients, specialist planners and internal experts and use modern CAD/BIM methods for efficient project development.
Responsibilities:
Development of architectural concepts for new build, conversion, repurposing and existing projects
Conducting existing condition, potential and site analyses as a basis for further project development
Preparation of feasibility studies, variant studies and project bases to assess different development scenarios
Planning and processing of construction projects across several SIA planning phases from preliminary study to execution planning
Development of solutions for repurposing, renovation and transformation of existing buildings
Coordination of architecture, functionality, building law and economic viability within project development
Coordination of clients, specialist planners, authorities and internal experts
Processing of floor plans, concept plans, project plans and building law clarifications
Support with cost estimates and economic assessments as well as optimisation of project variants
Application and further development of CAD and BIM-based planning processes
Coordination of technical and planning interfaces between architecture, structural engineering and building services
Qualifications:
Completed studies as Architect FH/ETH or equivalent university degree
Several years of professional experience in planning and project design of construction projects, ideally with a focus on existing buildings
Experience with feasibility studies, repurposing, renovations and project development
Knowledge of relevant SIA phases, Swiss building regulations and building law planning processes
Understanding of construction costs, economic viability and real estate or project development
Very good user knowledge of CAD and/or BIM as well as experience with digital planning processes
Very good German language skills for project documents, reports and collaboration with clients and authorities
