Finance Controller
Tasks
- Responsibility for the financial management and control of the Livique & Lumimart specialist formats based on KPIs, forecasts, reports and sound business analyses.
- Management and further development of controlling as well as leadership and development of an employee within the area of responsibility.
- Responsibility for multi-year planning, budgeting, forecasts as well as monthly, tertial and annual financial statements in compliance with group-wide planning guidelines and deadlines.
- Preparation, analysis and interpretation of target/actual comparisons as well as derivation of recommendations for action for management.
- Preparation of decision-making bases, business cases and profitability analyses for investments, projects and strategic initiatives.
- Strategic advice and sparring for the divisional management and other internal stakeholders on business management issues.
- Leadership and participation in cross-departmental projects – from profitability analysis through implementation to success control.
- Identification and implementation of organisational, process and efficiency optimisations as well as continuous development of controlling instruments and processes.
- Responsibility for target group-appropriate reporting as well as continuous optimisation and automation of reporting using BI solutions.
- Ensuring high data quality and supporting departments in all controlling-related matters.
Requirements
- Completed business studies or comparable further education
- In-depth knowledge of accounting, cost accounting, controlling methods and financial analysis
- Experience in preparing annual financial statements, forecasts and budgets
- Confident handling of key figures, key figure systems and controlling tools (e.g. SAP, Excel, BI tools)
- Ability to analyse large amounts of data, recognise correlations and derive recommendations for action
- Ability to communicate complex matters clearly and precisely both in writing and orally
- Independent working style and willingness to adapt to new situations and develop further
